A seventh grade boy’s shot of a lifetime during a recent high school basketball game made fans go wild for one big reason.
Fox News reports that JJ Frank, who made a layup and free throw at Bishop Ryan Catholic school in Minot, North Dakota on Friday, won $10,000.
Video showsHe was young and he was shooting the ball multiple times. With each shot, he made it to the basket.
He ran down the court before turning around to make the final shot. Many people in the crowd applauded and encouraged him. To celebrate this thrilling moment, many cheered and waved their hands.

Frank was surrounded by many people who rushed to the court and jumped with joy.
“You only get one shot at that, so if you miss, you miss,”He added: “I was thinking, ‘I’m probably not going to make it, but I’ve just got to try and try and hope it goes in.’”

According to his mother, the three first shots were a sign of his talent. “But the last shot, really, I think was maybe more a gift from God than it was some natural talent.”
Frank, who is a member of his school’s junior high team, plans to save the money to help pay for college.
