Vontae, a former Indianapolis Colts cornerback was taken into custody in Florida after he was found sleeping along the sideline of the road by police responding to an accident report with serious injuries.
Andy Slater from Fox Sports reported that officers discovered Davis fast asleep and lying on the side of the road on Saturday at 8 AM.
SLATERSCOOP: On Saturday, former NFL Pro Bowl CB Vontae was arrested in South Florida for DUI.
Davis is alleged to have crashed into an automobile on the roadside, and then it hit someone next to him.

According to police reports, Davis was taken into custody after hitting a wheelchair-bound car sitting behind him. The police report states that Davis hit the car and then crashed into another vehicle. Officers woke him up and he said that he was a former player. “I was tired,”The New York Post reported.
Former player, 34 years old, told police that he had drunk two drinks at a nightclub hours before the accident. He also declined sobriety testing.
Davis is currently facing one DUI charge. The person who was injured in the accident has been taken to the hospital. “multiple injuries,”In the future, there may be additional charges.
Davis was released on a $500 bond.
Davis was originally selected by the Miami Dolphins in the first round 2009 NFL Draft. Davis played in Miami for three seasons before being traded. To the Indianapolis Colts on December 12, 2012. After six years of playing for the Colts, he retired in 2018. He was a Buffalo Bills’ player and abruptly left the team during halftime in his first game. Also, he was a twice-pro bowl player.
