Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw introduced on Friday the crew would relaunch its Christian Religion and Household Day, simply days after the group re-invited the unconventional anti-Christian transgender group, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, to its tenth annual Pleasure Evening occasion.
“Excited to announce the relaunch of Christian Faith and Family Day at Dodger Stadium on July 30th,” Kershaw tweeted. “More details to come— but we are grateful for the opportunity to talk about Jesus and determined to make it bigger and better than it was before COVID. Hope to see you on July 30th!”

The Dodgers had been surrounded by controversy this week after the crew introduced it could re-invite the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence to be honored on Pleasure Evening on June 16.
After receiving backlash from spiritual teams, the Dodgers rescinded an invite to the radical anti-Christian group. Nonetheless, the Dodgers walked again its choice and introduced Monday that the drag queen group could be re-invited to the crew’s Pleasure Evening.
The Dodgers supplied its “sincerest apologies to the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and their friends and families,” in a press release issued after the announcement.
The Archdiocese of Los Angeles criticized the crew’s reversal the day after its announcement, saying in a press release:
The choice to honor a bunch that clearly mocks the Catholic religion and makes mild of the honest and holy vocations of our girls spiritual who’re an integral a part of our Church is what has prompted disappointment, concern, anger, and dismay from our Catholic neighborhood. The Archdiocese calls on all Catholics and other people of goodwill to face in opposition to bigotry and hate in any type and to face for respect for each other and for the spiritual beliefs of our communities of religion.
Within the replies to Kershaw’s tweet asserting Christian Religion and Household Day, social media customers referred to as on Kershaw, a vocal Christian, to denounce the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and his crew’s choice to re-invite them to Pleasure Evening.

“How can we take this seriously when the team is allowing another group to be so completely nasty towards Christians?” one other person asked.
“Clayton, the Dodgers are elevating a group on June 16th that is hateful and intolerant to people of faith,” pastor Paul Chappell famous. “My family and the ministries I lead cannot support the Dodgers if they support this hate. Tolerance is preached but apparently not practiced by the Dodgers.”
The Dodgers haven’t held a Christian Religion and Household Day since 2019.
