President Biden is underwater on almost every key issue as the midterm elections approach, a Redfield & Wilton Strategies survey released this week found.
Biden’s overall approval rating is underwater, as 35 percent approve and 43 percent disapprove. He has a net negative rating of -8%. However, this is far more than the RealClearPolitics spread of -15.1, as of Monday.

Biden does not perform well on specific issues. There is only one category that Biden sees a positive net approval — the coronavirus pandemic, as 39 percent approve and 37 percent disapprove. Biden does not have a positive net opinion on any other issue.
For instance, 26 per cent approve of the economy and 50 per percent disapprove. This net negative rating gives him a rating of -24%.

This survey was conducted among 1,500 U.S. citizens on June 15, 2022. It comes several months before the midterm elections. Americans are still facing supply chain problems, increasing gas prices and high inflation. Biden and Democrats were at the top of this poll.
