Calls to boycott The North Face have adopted the outside model’s launch of a transgender advert that includes a drag queen encouraging clients to “come out” with the model.
In an Instagram publish Wednesday, outside recreation merchandise firm The North Face offered its “Summer of Pride” marketing campaign that includes drag queen and intersectional environmentalist Pattie Gonia, a self-described “real-life homosexual.”
Within the advert, the “drag artist” is seen calling on viewers to “come out” in nature with the model.

In response, customers took to social media to specific outrage over the marketing campaign, with many calling for an entire boycott of the Denver-based firm.
