Weisselberg provided prosecutors with valuable information regarding the tax fraud case. Weisselberg, for example, told the prosecutors that Trump Organization employees kept their jobs after being charged with tax fraud.
Barry Weisselberg, the former Central Park Ice Rink Manager, was even mentioned by the CFO. Matthew Calamari Sr., the Chief Operating Officer was also mentioned.
Bragg may not file criminal charges against Trump, although it is unclear. Bragg might exercise prosecutorial discretion, and decide to prioritise other cases. Some observers may be already encouraging him to do so.
