The Medical College of South Carolina (MUSC) has revised packages and scholarships to incorporate white college students after the Division of Schooling opened an investigation.
MUSC was investigated by the Division of Schooling’s Workplace for Civil Rights (OCR) after they have been reported for excluding males and white folks from some variety scholarships that required candidates to be from a demographic that’s thought-about “under-represented in medicine.”
The medical faculty knowledgeable OCR in February that they might open up their scholarships to college students “regardless of race.”
