On Tuesday, 47 people were arrested in Minnesota for conspiracy and other charges. This Federal investigation alleges that this is the biggest fraud scheme to profit from $1.9 trillion of taxpayer money released by the Biden Administration during the coronavirus pandemic.
Aimee Aock, 41 years old, is charged with being the founder and executive Director of Feeding Our Future. Feeding Our Future is a non-profit that sponsored the Federal Child Nutrition Program.
They are accused of taking $250 million in a joint amount from a program funded by the federal government that feeds low-income children.
“Feeding Our Future employees recruited individuals and entities to open Federal Child Nutrition Program sites throughout the state of Minnesota,”The U.S. Justice Department released a statement.
“These sites, created and operated by the defendants and others, fraudulently claimed to be serving meals to thousands of children a day,”It was.
They instead submitted fraudulent invoices and meal count sheets with false names.
The Justice Department claims that Feeding Our Future opened over 250 locations in Minnesota during the pandemic.
“The defendants used the proceeds of their fraudulent scheme to purchase luxury vehicles, residential and commercial real estate in Minnesota as well as property in Ohio and Kentucky, real estate in Kenya and Turkey, and to fund international travel,”According to the department.
The charges against the defendants range from wire fraud, bribery, and money laundering.

Earlier this year, the U.S. Department of Justice made prosecuting pandemic-related fraud a priority. The department has already taken enforcement actions related to more than $8 billion in suspected pandemic fraud, including bringing charges in more than 1,000 criminal cases involving losses in excess of $1.1 billion.
Federal officials repeated the claim of fraud being committed. “brazen,”It was deplorable that they denied food to those children in need during the coronavirus epidemic. Michael Paul, the special agent responsible for Minneapolis FBI Office, called it “an astonishing display of deceit.”
This is a fraction the $350 million available under the 2021 American Rescue Plan, which helps state and local governments to weather the coronavirus crises and their aftermath.
They are however examples of how the aid is used that do not fit the logic that Democrats presented for the $1.9 trillion U.S. taxpayer dollar record.
