‘WTF Is He Motivating Them To Do? Triple Mask?’: ‘Motivational’ Fauci Ripped For Charging 50-100K Per Speech

After it emerged that Dr. Anthony Fauci was once the most highly-paid federal employee, the White House COVID advisor, has been criticized for receiving up to $100,000 in speaking engagements.

Christina Pushaw is the Florida GOP Governor’s rapid response director. Ron DeSantis, tweeted a screenshot from the Leading Motivational Speakers Agency’s website showing the cost of hiring Fauci as a “motivational” speaker ranging from $50,000 – $100,000. The website boasted that Fauci’s “career warrants execution under immense pressure that can alter the course of human existence. … This high level of research, discovery and execution is amazing given the grave challenges he faces on a daily basis.”

“Follow The Science Starting at 50k an hour,” writer Jordan Schachtel jabbed.

“Motivational? WTF is he motivating them to do? Triple mask? Gain of function?”Saifedean Ammous (the author of “The Bitcoin Standard: The Decentralized Alternative to Central Banking,” snapped.

“Gotta replace the 400K federal salary…,” NewsBusters’ Tim Graham replied.

According to openthebooks.com — which claimed that NIH stonewalled them for over a year regarding a request to see Fauci’s finances, forcing openthebooks.com to sue them —Fauci was paid $417,608 in 2019, $434, 312 in 2020 and $456,028 in 2021. Openthebooks stated that Fauci’s annual pension would be worth more than $355,000 per year upon his retirement.

According to Forbes, in the decade from  2010 to 2019, Fauci made $3.6 million.

Fauci delivered keynote addresses at The University of Maryland and Roger Williams University, Rhode Island last year; he will do the same at The 2023 Yale Medical School Commencement.

Roger Marshall (Kansas GOP Senator) questioned Fauci and asked, “What is the best way to get rid of Fauci?” “As the highest-paid employee in the entire federal government, would you be willing to submit to Congress and the public a financial disclosure that includes your past and current investments? After all, your colleague [Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Rochelle] Walensky and every member of Congress submits a financial disclosure that includes their investments.”

“All you have to do is ask for it,” Fauci ultimately replied. “You’re so misinformed, it’s extraordinary.”Later, Marshall caught him on a microphone saying his name. “What a moron. Jesus Christ.”

Apprised of Fauci’s comments, Marshall responded, “Calling me a moron during a Senate hearing may have alleviated the stress of the least trusted bureaucrat in America, but it didn’t take away from the facts.”
