New Dating App For Young Conservatives Made By Former Top Trump Aide

Former Trump aide John McEntee may have the answer to your romantic woes. His new app, The Right Stuff, promises to help young conservatives, primarily in large liberal cities, to meet and date each other.

The app will launch in mid-July for those in the Washington, D.C., area. It will use an invite-only structure at first, following a similar model to social audio app Clubhouse.

In an interview with The Daily Wire, McEntee said that the new dating app is for anyone who “wants to be able to have a normal dating experience, one that our parents and our grandparents had. Just because technology has changed doesn’t mean [that experience] has to change.”

The interface will be very familiar to people who have used Tinder or Hinge. Each person will create a profile complete with photos, interests, and other details curated to attract the opposite sex.

The app, which has been in development for the last nine months, connects people who “like” each others’ profiles, allowing them to chat, meet, and build a community of like-minded people.

In addition to matching profiles, the app will also give the opportunity to post invitations to specific events. For instance, if a young man finds himself with an extra ticket to a baseball game, he can post the date and time on the app, and any number of young women will be able to respond and say that they are interested in going to the game.

The new dating app is backed by billionaire tech investor Peter Thiel, who invested $1.5 million of his personal funds in the endeavor. Before investing in The Right Stuff, the tech mogul co-founded PayPal with Elon Musk, a company now worth $51 billion. Shortly after selling his 3.7% stake to eBay, a sale in which he made $55 million, Thiel became the first major investor of Facebook, putting in $500,000. Thiel’s past successes, as well as recent surges in the popularity of dating apps, bodes very well for The Right Stuff.

More than just a dating app, McEntee hopes the app will fill the space left by far-Left dating apps like Bumble, which now requires users to pledge their support for Black Lives Matter, and Christian Mingle, which has a much older demographic and caters to people who are ready for long-term commitment.

“For those who know traditional is attractive,” The Right Stuff will allow conservatives to find a fun, dynamic community in places that isolate and ostracize those who don’t buy into the Left-wing agenda.

This dating app is part of a larger movement by conservatives to create alternatives to a culture that is dominated by wokeism. These new companies, such as The Daily Wire’s own Jeremy’s Razors, capitalize on a growing market of people left behind by the companies that try to profit off pushing leftist ideology.

While the app will initially only be available to those in the Washington, D.C., area, it will be launched nationally in September.
