A Missouri radio host went on an unhinged and sexist off-air tirade directed at his co-host — where he called her a bad mother and said he felt sorry for her kids.
According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch audio, Vic Faust (a Fox 2 anchor in St. Louis) slammed Crystal Cooper as he was ranting about her intellect and appearance. These comments were apparently made at a KFNS commercial break, which is hard-rock station.
“Your kids have a (expletive) terrible mom. I feel sorry for them,”Faust stated.
Cooper was shocked and could not reply. “wow, wow.”
Faust angrily also told Cooper “you’re nothing”And “you’re trash”According to the St. Louis newspaper, she also called her stupid, fat and bad.
He said: “You’re a (expletive) mom, you don’t even know the topics we’re talking about. You’re just stupid.”
According to the newspaper Cooper made fun of Faust for his issues with his computer, which he was doing while they were both on-air.
Faust advised Cooper to not return to the program off-air.
“If you come back, I’m going to be in your (expletive) every (expletive) day,”He stated.
Cooper stood by herself through the horrible incident telling Faust “grow up” repeatedly.
Faust confirmed these off-air comments to The St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Faust also stated that there wasn’t “background”to the incident but didn’t elaborate further.
According to the newspaper, it had received Friday’s disturbing audio clip anonymously.
According to Post-Dispatch, Cooper left the show on the day she was subjected to innumerable insults.
Faust’s duties at radio station appear to be on hold. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported Tuesday that Faust was being laid off, while leaders of the station where he works have yet to comment on Faust’s job situation.
He’s been with the television station for seven years, but was not on air Monday or Tuesday, the newspaper reported.
