Democrat Mayor Says She’s Proud To Lead The ‘Gayest City In The World’

Democrat Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser has declared the nation’s capital because the “gayest city in the world,” at the same time as critics implored her to deal with town’s rising crime charges. 

Bowser made the announcement on Thursday, as companies and authorities entities start to deal with gender and sexual identification in recognition of Delight Month. 

“I am proud to be the Mayor of the best city in the world, and the gayest city in the world,” Bowser stated in a tweet that was accompanied by a video of her in a crowd waving a rainbow flag. 

Some criticized her announcement, asking her to deal with countering rising crime slightly than on celebrations of sexual identification. In response to the flier, many children are “coming out” at youthful ages. “A Pride event especially for kids, many of whom are coming out at younger ages,” a piece of the flier beneath “goals” reads. 

It’s also described as “an opportunity for local schools and community groups to show they support LGBTQ youth and families.”
