‘Black Mirror’ creator used ChatGPT to jot down an episode: ‘It was s–t’

“Black Mirror” creator Charlie Brooker, 52, says he used the substitute intelligence software program ChatGPT to jot down an episode of the smash Netflix collection — however he wasn’t impressed by the top product.

“I’ve toyed around with ChatGPT a bit,” Brooker advised Empire in an interview printed Tuesday.

The British collection, which premiered in 2011, typically explores how scientific and technological development can have a destructive impression on society.

“The first thing I did was type ‘generate ‘Black Mirror’ episode,’ and it comes up with something that, at first glance, reads plausibly, but on second glance, is s–t,” Brooker continued.

“Because all it’s done is look up all the synopses of ‘Black Mirror’ episodes, and sort of mush them together. Then if you dig a bit more deeply you go, ‘Oh, there’s not actually any real original thought here.’ It’s [1970s impressionist] Mike Yarwood — there’s a topical reference,” he added.

Yarwood, 81, was generally known as “British television’s first truly successful impressionist” earlier than disappearing from the limelight.

Season 6 of “Black Mirror” premieres June 15 on Netflix. Salma Hayek, Michael Cera, Aaron Paul, Josh Hartnett, and Kate Mara are set to seem this season, which consists of 5 episodes.

The instructor took a yellow highlighter to 1 line particularly.
