AMC Theaters, the nation’s largest movie theater chain, on Monday unveiled a new pricing scheme in which seat location determines how much your movie ticket costs. A dollar will increase for seats located in the middle of an auditorium, but tickets in the front row are slightly less expensive.

AMC claimed that AMC’s pricing plan, also known as “Sightline,”It has been implemented in select locations. By the end of 2013, it will be available at all AMC theatres in the country during shows after 4 pm.
